The ant rebellion {The few can deceive no longer}

{If you have the patience, go ahead and do it now, as it will serve as the backbone for the rest of what will be discussed here.}

Its all in the family
I dont really believe that the masses know or truly understand to the degree that politics & fame is ‘all in the family’ or ‘genetic soup’.

The American Dream, as George Carlin put it, is a dream because “you have to be asleep to believe it”

Oh laugh indeed, but dont stop with that – let it sink in until it saturates you and you start to realize the truth of this. {Of course research helps with this as well as an open mind to break past ones conditioned thinking brought on by their social and religous milieu…manipulated by those whose interest it is to keep you in a certain train of thought.}

The real conspiracy
The real conspiracy is that there is not a conspiracy…at least not how most people look at it. An us vs. them.

Its the conspiracy of being trapped in ones own egoic state or identification with thoughts and things that allow the few, genetically connected, to stay on top.

How much is really manipulation from those in the family gene pool?
Well, its all in the genetic code, so it may not be on a conscious level, but actions are made which are embedded within us. I think a few may know consciously how to control and manipulate…and for sure this is the case, as we see the fruit of such actions in our society and have read stories of such from sacred text such as the Bible.

Story of ants
This is why I said to check out my other post about ants.
The BBC had an interesting article on ants and how the few manipulate the masses so they dont rebel and can keep their ’seed’ alive. No joke, go read it, quite fascinating and nature gives us a look into our own insanity.

I remember about 10 years ago when a Brit I worked with told me that the whole royalty and knight system is a joke. “They give knight status to entertainers”…

Well, they are indeed the knights are they not?
After all the media, entertainment feeds us what we want.

Think of gladiator. One senators comment about the young emperor reinstating the games: “He knows Rome…the mob is Rome”

What of Hitler and HotDogs and Beer – give people free food to stuff their gullet and they are quite happy.

Maybe we do need these genetically enhanced ‘gods’ – We are too dang stupid,
God forbid if one of ‘us’ were to be in control!

but is there a need for anyone to be in control?
I dont think so. I would recommend you to grab the audio book by Eckhart Tolle, “A New Earth” and/or listen to him on the weekly Oprah book club to see what the next stage of human evolution is about. And its not about controlling each other.

Its about collaboration vs. competition.
Competition does not seek for the best, but only for itself…well, lets say competition slows down progress, while collaboration builds up and moves things along quite a bit faster. If this doesnt make sense, then you probably need to keep your ‘queen ant’ for now.

That is not condescending at all, we all have our own path to walk…and there is a time for everything.

The relevance of the family tree
Just to clarify, I can hear some people saying, “Well, we are all related to Adam and Eve, so eventually Im sure Im related to Elvis too…hahah” – yeah, funny.

Let me let you in on a secret. On my part Im related to poor Norwegian farmers and can not even get past a few generations. My clan, I suppose, was genetically engineered to work the land. – Well, that died here, although I still like ’some’ gardening.

I can probably bet you that the majority of blacks in the south who Obama wants to relate to…have no ties to any royalty whatsoever.

But you know, if that story about the ants has any bearing than they may very well be.
Didnt ol’ George Washington have some slaves that he had children with.

If I understand it correctly, the ants do something similar as to not get the ant populace onto what they are doing. Trying to position their ‘genetic pures’ into position for the next queen role.

Waking up
The ant rebellion.
Yes, they do fear the masses, just like the ant royalty fears their masses.
But should they fear? What would happen if we all woke up now?
Is rebellion necessary? Again, I fear it would be worse…after all if we are not that clever to see what is in front of us, we will go from being sheep to lemmings.

One lemming will lead us over the cliff.
So for now, we have what we have…but I say again, once you realize the truth…and by this I mean beyond the everyday routine of life…but the essence of who you are and your place in the grand scheme of things…you will realize true change happens within and then the outside goes to reflect what is within.

Though it is possible, I dont think ‘nature’ ‘god’, whatever, will allow for a revolution where its one egoic state to replace another.

Any shift will have to be a conscious shift.
Once this happens, nothing can stop it.

Conclusion
We are all at different levels, and we take and understand what is said to us from the view point that we have which was given to us by our milieu – as stated before.

There is not a inferior or superior position here…its all a journey and each person has to follow their own path at their own timing. Seeds will be planted, and like Jesus said, some will fall and not grow, others will stunt in growth…and others will grow to maturity.

This is not about being better than another, its about the evolution of the universe.

Eckhart Tolle & Oprah {Free Video WebCast}

Well, I just took at look at video three of the series.
The message Eckhart has to share is living up to its true form.

The first three videos are free online at Ophras site…go have a look.

Some may recall that I had my reservations about Eckhart going on Oprah to share this material.
After all Oprah supports Obama, which politics is a form of the ego…or a representation of mass consciousness.

And seeing that Obama is a relative of Cheney, and that most, if not all, of the main characters are some how ‘related’, it seemed ironic that Eckhart would be on the show.

But in truth, that was my own prejudices and ego.
First, things are exactly where they need to be…and can be no other way.

I must first take a hold of my own life to make change in the world around me.

Secondly, what better place to get the message out…and again the message is not something to believe in…its something that is ‘alive’ – its putting Jesus words into actions…much like Jesus himself lived out what he taught, and many Christians have not a clue how to do.

I am surprised at another level, that ‘ego’ let this message get out.
But the truth is in us all and is not something that can be hidden or destroyed…it is ‘life’.

On the other hand, to label Oprah as being ‘in the ego’, so to speak, does not do justice to my own soul. When I look at her, or anyone like that…not that its not o.k. to observe and see what is happening in the ‘now’ – but to wrap that label around someone, does not give them the freedom to ‘change’ (Much like my example that I have shared before about Jesus and how he actually related to people without identifying them with actions…this allowed space for any change to take place…)

So, in short, I quite enjoyed the webcast, and as usual tried to allow it to sink in and become a more complete part of me.

Paul said be transformed by the renewing of your mind…this is why I listen to Eckhart Tolle almost daily…for years.

Some may call it brain washing. Well, we are in fact brain washed by something.
What do we think? Paul made it clear that what we think is important.

So when we find that truth, it would behoove us to take it and make in integral to our waking life to see change.

Unlike so often where the mind (ego) says, “ah, great idea, one day…” – yes…”one day” never happens, because true change happens today.

Go have a listen, if indeed there was a ‘vessle’ to communicate a message much needed to be heard, Eckhart is the dude of the generation. But dont get lost in words, nor in the teacher.
Many others say the same things, but people get lost in the trappings…or the words in which they identify with and take to mean something other than to what they are actually pointing towards.

Tribute to Larry Norman (founder of modern christian music)

Intro: Christian music of the devil?
Most of you have not a clue who he is…but back in the days the church would have died to hear most of the music being played today which is labeled as Christian.

Hymns were truly as far as they could go and no further, everything else had a demon coming out of the beat. (And we are not talking heavy metal here)

Bible college vs. Keith Green and Newsboys
Again, not many of you grew up in the ending of this age where such strict rules applied to music, dress, etc. My Bible college that I quickly left dwelt more on how Christian contemporary music was satanic and trying to get rid of my Keith Green and News boys CDS…then they did on theology. (always had a great time in theology class…drew ‘bill the cat’ on the boards with a ‘theology arrow going through his head’.)

Opening of doors & the potential close of a religion
But if it werent for those pioneers, like Larry Norman, there may have been quite a restriction still on Christian music. Or Christianity would have devolved into a small dieing group that would only keep a small following like the Amish. You have to evolve and move on.

“But faith doesnt change”. But we arent talking about faith – we are talking about going past man made dogma and in to true ’spirit’. I have to admit the church is still tangled and I see it constantly in various places as I come across Christians stuck in narrow ways of thought – primarily out of fear. (Which leads also to the need to want to be ‘right’)

Communicating backwards
Larry got it and came across and was able to talk to the young crowd of his days.

What we loose is the communication back to the church. They need to be saved.
But in truth, not sure if its worth going backwards as you risk getting stuck in their revolving egoic stories…and they wont/cant break out until they are consciously ready to. There has to be the seed of desire.

So communication backwards doesnt really work… (this last bit may not make a lick of sense to many of you, Im just jotting down some thoughts/observations of recent days as it concerns communicating with people that have dogmatic beliefs.)

Its much easier to talk to the sinner. Jesus knew this and its who he focused on…notice he didnt try to get the pharisees to turn around. He talked their lingo, but they didnt bite…their egos were to deep. Some came out…to an extent…well in hiding, but they were still to attached to their identities.

Anyway, here is a bit from the late Larry Norman who passed away in late Feb 2008:

Bringing it home:
The above scenario brings about two points.
Really they are one in the same, but we often look at things/words, as a one way street.
We see things from one perspective and think we have the whole picture.

What Larry is saying seems down right obvious.
Many of us can relate to what is being said and infact this thought is somewhat the pillar in how to overcome the blockages in evangelism to be able to communicate with the non-Christian to “bring them into the fold” so that they to can get lost in its religious trappings.

But this brings about what I was talking to previously about communicating backwards.

Lost your first love/death of a seed:
“The first awakening is by grace” – Eckhart Tolle.
What we have is the first true concept that comes that we are indeed loved and free, we have found “our first love” but almost immediately (like the parable of the seeds) things go wrong. Very few grow up to maturity.
Various things happen on the way to either kill the plant or stunt its growth.

A plant with stunted growth may be worse than if it never had grown to begin with, and surely can do more damage as it ‘plants’, with more seeds, other plants that will be like itself…stunted in growth.

Its just like the pharisees, the white washed tombs.
The blind leading the blind.

Hearing the message, but totally missing the point:
Oh, sure. We have gotten past one phase – which is we now know how to talk to the ’sinner’ (dont recall Jesus calling people or rather identifying them with their actions…this seems to be what keeps people in their actions.
I have written about this before, but Jesus did not see an alcoholic, prostitute, etc. He saw a person. He did not label them by their deeds so they were free to not identify with them and thus make future choices that reflected a new line of thought. – being truly ‘born again.’ And this was not by ‘effort’, which fails time and again. If you want more info on this, dig on my site and it may help shine more light on this matter, as it is important and not really talked about.)

Its about the first love, where did it go?…
So we have learned how to go past the problem Larry talked about, but also in his dialogue we see a hint of another problem very well present. The attitude of the pharisee. Those people are lost in the lingo. They have mistaken the word for the message. Words are pointers and take on different meanings depending on who hears/reads it based on their upbringing and social & religious milieus. (better known as the mental grid system of interpreting info through ones experiences and perspective.)

The pharisees get lost in the words and cant see the forest for all the trees.

Rediscovery
People, its time to rediscover your first love.
Its time to really get to know what love is – even if you have to record yourself reading from Paul and his definition of it over and over again. Until it sinks through that love is unconditional acceptance.

This word is not acceptable to some, because people get so lost and trapped in only using one word and not feeling what another word actually means and is pointing to. The words acceptance is very dangerous to any pharisee or evangelical christian as it implies that a person can ’sin and get away with something’.

Their focus is skewed and in the wrong area altogether. Much can be said on this and would need more space and time to fully get the meat of what is being communicated here. Why? Because the roots of fear run deep in most Christians hearts and this dictates the type of communication they will have.

Talk the talk but dont know how to walk the walk
Sure they may have learned to talk a new talk to relate to the people…but if the change isnt understood at heart level, then they are merely white washed tombs leading others to the same fate that they are currently experiencing.

Love is alive. Love the lord with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself.

Love yourself! Accept yourself!

When you do, you can then proceed to give a message to a non believer with true conviction without expecting to see change. The message is the good news of Jesus, not the good news and now here is what you change to show that Christ is in your life.

Wrapping up:
I will say it again. When Jesus hung around the prostitute he had not preconditioned idea that they must now change. There change, if any, was in the realization that they were not a prostitute.
That is a label (egoic identity) that kept them stuck. – These words, until you feel the heart of it, will allude you.
Its a powerful and life transforming concept, demonstrated by Jesus himself.

Dont get lost in the words…watch the life and actions of Jesus.

p.s. – as usual, this post was written quickly and again may hit the spot for some people and give them something to ponder about…and may land on deaf ears with others. (But not to label, as we never know if those deaf ears have a tinge of hearing to accept a seed that will later grow into a mature plant.)

Conspiracies & the true attempt to ‘deny ignorance’

update:
Im leaving this post as is, though my views toward this have taken a deeper and softer tone then what I ended the post with.

I would say, I have nothing against ATS as a site, or against the 3 guys who run it.
Most of what I said is still my view point, yet, as mentioned, if I were to write it now any negative tones would be mostly eliminated.

Truth is everything has its place. The root of the issue presented below is in the name ‘deny ignorance’ itself. If its true we get what we focus on, then I dont think a double negative equals a positive in this situation. What it does is creates room for the continuation of the perception of a separate duality… ergo no true answer ever arriving.

Put simply, if you set out to deny, your not focusing on the possibilities that are – you have already shut them off.

My beef was about the Hemp threads being moved, with all the other stuff discussed, and the value Hemp has, I did not see the point. Yet the board is both what the users make of it as well as the site owners. Like draws like, and there, again, is a time and place for everything.

Some wonderful people can be met there, and as I said, the site owners actually do a pretty good job at keeping an organized forum that is not overrun by to much child play. Sure there are things I would change, and I suppose as they would put it, I should go start my own Hemp thread if I want. lol

So, read this for what it is, and realize when it sounds a bit negative, that this in itself is not creating a solution. Hey, we live and learn. Thats why I left the blog here, to show the fluidity of life as it were.

This post is about one of the largest and most popular conspiracy websites on the net to this day. Above Top Secret. (ATS)

Intro:
I suppose for some years (decades perhaps) conspiracy theories have been popular amongst certain groups.

i.e. Those interested in UFOs, or the ‘truth’ behind the assassination of J.F.K. & M.L.K., to those who question the accuracy of what N.A.S.A. tells us concerning the space program, as well as people who believe that mainstream religion is a means of control, etc.

Conspiracies have existed amongst us in different fragments and interest until the past decade as it has become more united and people have begun to look at issues as a whole.

Mainstream
Not everyone agrees on everything or to the same degree as perhaps someone else also interested in the same topic. But one thing seems to be sure, and that is the candy coated view of the world is slowly melting away.

No this is not doom and gloom, though with many people believing in conspiracies, it would seem that this is the case. Again, I see this as just a natural step of ‘evolution of thought’.

Steps/evolution of thought
“We cannot see past the choices that we dont understand” – oracle/matrix
In other words, or in this case, if we have a limited perspective & experience, we will see the world colored in a totally different way than we will once we gain a broader perspective and more experience.

Typically people never really go past the ‘baby stage’. There minds, as open and intelligent as they might like to think they are, in fact, are really closed and have not yet matured to take in new concepts. But again, this is part of the steps of evolution of thought – it seems a bit sad that the whole world appears to be like that, but again I know this is not the case…there are those awakening and are not believing everything that is told to them, but thinking for themselves. And even more so, they are not living in fear about the possibility that what they were told was a lie, and yet even more so…they are not in fear from any conspiracy that they may see.

Why? Because they realize, in the larger scheme, it has no sway over what is most important…which is who they are. And who are you? Well as the Oracle in delphi said, “No theyself” (also the oracle in the matrix.)
I always point out Eckhart Tolles audio books (A new earth, etc) as an example of stepping past lies to to us and any conspiracies it may or may not entail…well, stepping past fear.

Fear is really the grand conspiracy in in and of itself.

The core of the conspiracy uncovered.
“They do this,” – “They did that”…
All nice and fine, but it would seem the root of the conspiracies itself is the ‘fear’ that it typically generates.

Who is at the root of all this fear mongering? The Ego. Yep, you got it.
For this you really need to listen to Eckhart Tolles audio book “A New Earth”.
Now I will say this up front. I have learned that not everyone will take away from something they listen to what someone else took away from it.

This is foremost due to how our grid system (way of thought, pre-programmed by our milieu/social conditions), and how that grid system filters and interprets information through that persons lifes experience and perspective thereof.

It could be E.T. (Eckhart Tolle) just doesnt cut it for you at all.
But as Jesus said, “seek and you will find when you search with all your heart.” I believe that to be true.

Above Top Secret – A.T.S.
I have been a member, well registered, at the board Above Top Secret – A.T.S. since around 2004 I believe. Quite awhile and I have made many post there as well as started a few topics.

Over the time at Above Top Secret, my views have changed as well as interest.
At one point, I suppose at seeing the world a bit different, came the initial underlying fear at some of the topics. But that was to pass as I continued to ‘evolve’ spiritually and to see that the conspiracy itself is fear. Now this last statement goes way deeper than the words themselves would initially imply.

Conspiracy board silences topics that are not liked:
Well, as of today, one of the site owners at Above Top Secret – ATS has closed a thread about Hemp. You know the 100% legal stuff you can buy at your local Whole Foods Market.
Infact one of, what they call, the 3 amigos said that we could go somewhere else to start our own Hemp board. Now his view would obviously seem to reflect the other 2 site owners view…and infact one for sure, as the other has been known to move threads that he did not like topic wise…along the same lines.

Hemp – The issue
Above Top Secret – ATS has a forum for about almost everything.
Forums dedicated to discussing conspiracies in religion (where your usually preached to…which is fine, but this is a conspiracy board and they do have something called B.T.S. – Below Top Secret where you can have theological debates…but the site owners let the conspiracy in religions forum be clogged up with theological rants while moving hemp threads. – Ha!)

Anyway, you will find forums from conspiracy in religion, conspiracy in medicine, (hey THC belongs here, but you will get your thread stopped according the the last comment from one of the site owners as mentioned), conspiracy forums list goes on…they even have skunkworks for things that dont fit other areas.

Fallibility
In short, the people that run the site are human and therefore fallible.
The ‘human’ aspect, or ego, is seen from the top through various sillyness, of which I wont get into here…overall its not to bad and is a very organize forum.

In fact if you go there, you will see that it is run rather nicely over all.
Remember I have been there for years and Im just brining out some of the kinks.
Well actually Im not, Im dealing with one specific issue here that brings out something a bit larger than the small kinks. And yes it has to do with hemp, but it points beyond the issue of hemp.

My view is the right view…(or, my agenda isnt yours)
The above title could be the view of the owners of the site…or some of them…maybe.
(even if unconscious.)
Above Top Secrets – A.T.S. theme is “deny ingorance”.

How can you ‘deny ignorance when one of the site owners comes on, closes a thread, and states “from our 10 years of experience we know where threads on hemp go….go make your own hemp forum” – paraphrase -

Different concerns have been listed as why the topic of hemp is an issue:
1) Its illegal
(well THC, not hemp seed and clothing that you buy from the store)
Basically, it seems that (ATS) does not want people posting their experiences with THC as those people broke the law.
Well here is a fact: Above Top Secret is viewed around the world, and THC is not illegal around the world. So is this just a matter of sticking to ones preconceived ideas and feelings about things which is culturally based and not scientifically/factually based?
(as well as ignoring other cultures and religious traditions?)

The fact is if someone used THC legally than its no longer hearing from someone who did something illegal. – which, if you read the above, is not the point…but it takes a certain level of evolvement in ones soul to get that point.

For the U.S. audience, lets not forget that even in the U.S., many states have it (THC) legal for medicinal purposes.

Yes, while the mainstream laugh and mock this…it is they that could be laughed at for showing a lack of interest in research. The medical journals for years have been reporting the benefits of THC and they are even synthesizing THC in the labs because science/medicine has found it beneficial)

2) Cant look at ATS at work because of filters
Something about the rating in google, and how it affects the office place.
Not totally clear on this. Your supposed to work at work…not surf ATS, so why get rid of the Hemp topics? (I think some of their workers wanted to access the site at work, but again their job place isnt paying them to be at ATS on their equipment.) Lame excuse.

3) Minors
It seems they are also concerned, and maybe this is where the Google ratings come in as well…but anyway, concerned as minors are at ATS.

One word for this: Parents.
Its time to let the parents be the parents and teach their kids ‘right from wrong’ and not from superstition. But to do so means that the parents need to become educated to as not to keep pushing the same fear mongering that goes on about topics such as hemp.

A tool is neither good nor bad
Paul put it nicely.
Nothing is bad or evil. All things are permissible but not all things are beneficial.

If I take grass and eat it, I will get sick. Does this mean I outlaw grass?

i.e., DMT in the brain.
This is a chemical found in the brain.
Its also a chemical found in plants which seems to either be illegal in the U.S. or is becoming illegal. Funny thing is so many plants have DMT you cant outlaw every plant.

But they want to outlaw you using the plant with DMT.

First, its my understanding you can take DMT all day and nothing will happen.
(Again, its in your brain and its only activated at birth, death, and when dreaming…perhaps…there not even sure.)

You need a MAO inhibitor to wake the DMT up.

Your illegal
What are they going to do, make you illegal for having DMT in your brain?
How do you awaken this DMT? Through meditation? Maybe meditation will be illegal.
Perhaps it already is and that is why the ‘west’ is a coffee nation, etc. Anything to keep that mind active and not relaxed. So we are silently illegal. (The ego is what makes these things ‘illegal’)

Coming around
This is to small of a space to do justice on the sillyness of the controversy around THC and other herbs. I have hit various points and tried to bring it around with the talk of DMT to show how silly many rules are that are made up.

If you go to a doctor for a tooth ache but take heart medication, than any complications you experience are your own fault, right?

Same with herbs. We need better education, not rules and fear.
This leads to more accidents as people will always find something to replace that which was taken from them. People need guidance not restrictions…fear kills, love creates and nourishes life.

Conclusion:
Again, I have hit around some various thoughts…it would take to long to really do all the topics in here justice.

But I was kind of tired of seeing Above Top Secret – ATS staunch, ‘ignorant’ attitude on discussion herbal plants. Even if it does talk about THC and experience. This goes well with the medicinal aspect as far as better understanding the full potential (downside and upside) of the plant.

Without study, without an open mind to research, you cannot do as Above Top Secret – ATS so proudly says in their motto: “Deny Ignorance”.

Get past the lame excuses and discuss.
Get past your (potential) constrictions of thought brought on by your social/religious milieu.

What is the use of this site?
At this point to keep people stirred up and in fear if you can never discuss things to go beyond the aspect of the fear.

Maybe its a conspiracy in itself to track all those who think against the flow in society…or maybe its something more benign (if you can call it that) and its what it truly is…which is ‘ego’, which doesnt see itself for what it is.

How is the site being used by the ego? Is it for personal gain or just a sense of ego pick me upper? Doesnt really matter. Its all the same either way.

Community. In a larger sense, the community makes the board.
Its the people who make the experience there. If the people leave there is no more Above Top Secret. Or if they restrict certain topics that is not to their liking, than perhaps there board will remain limited in areas and even get scaled back in more.

when you limit free thought, you will get only those who think your way.
Now if this is the goal of their site…to gather in as many people and to hone them into ‘mini-me’s’ (like on Austin Powers) then they are doing their job nicely and Im sure they realize that.

So there we go…

Reach into the Beyond…{How to go past dogma & into truth}

Intro
The people that are ready to hear this already know what Im about to say is true. Im not saying anything new, but merely pointing to the door through which they have to go through.

Those that wish to argue against it, are those who are closed minded and are not ready to move beyond dogma and therefore will not benefit from what will be said.

Nonetheless, everything has a purpose.
Quite often I find it amazing people wish to show up somewhere where they find it controversial.

They seem to want to strengthen their egos through argumentation.
To this there are 2 responses:
1) Challenge the ego directly like a zen master beating someone with a stick
2) Ignore the ego and look through it to the person.

There is something else…a seed is planted.
What I say is more dangerous to those who wish to stay in their dogma than they realize.
Once you hear/see the truth, its seed is forever with you…you wont be able to shake it.

So read this only if you are ready for change…if not now, later in your life.
But know this, either way, your life wont be the same. – Goes with any of my post really.

Here we go.
Getting past dogma is pretty straight forward.
The answer is found in Jesus teaching that says, “Seek with all your heart and you will find.”
Note that he did not say, “search within all your dogma, and stay away from that which you fear and is not approved by your doctrine.” – No one finds that way.

Why? Well on a very simple and basic level its because the way we understand info.
The way I understand something is not the way you will understand it – even if we hear/read the same thing.

The Grid
We have a grid system that was built from childhood… a way of thought, a web of patterns weaved intrinsically together, which filters everything through its system of thinking and ‘limited’ understanding/perspective.

The gap created by the grid system is more evident (yet not recognized for what it is) in people who have apparently opposing view points. But it can even be seen in close relationships if you look closely. Miscommunication is, in essence, a result of the grid system and one person thinking, “I am right, you are wrong.” And typically neither one wants to bridge the gap to see where the other is coming from as this would threaten the ‘established’ ego.

Breaking Free
Start where you are.
Are you a Christian? Then go into Christianity all the way and see where you come out.
Be as zealous as you can and study as much as you can until the systems break down and you are ‘baptized’ and come out on the other shore ‘born again’ – free of dogma.
{Dont misunderstand this to mean that the act of being baptized does this…this is allegorical, learn to look past the words to where they are pointing.}

What is Christianity about? Go to church(s) and find out. (and/or read).
{Most importantly, read that Bible for yourself, and dont be afraid to ask questions and even more, be willing to not know the answers}

Groups…reach out and learn/experience
Baptist, Presbyterian, Charismatic, Mennonite (the latter is an experience of its own if you can actually go to their congregation and mingle with their folk. I did and made a good friend, who too was looking beyond his own religious doctrine handed down to him.)

Baptist: Once saved always saved
Presbyterian: Predestined…if you can ride this idea to the edge and then ponder what it means that “Jesus died once for all”, you may get the point. – wont say more as the journey is yours and its not fun if someone else solves the puzzle for you.
Charismatic/Pentacostal: Loose your salvation & pick it up a the alter, only to drop it again once leaving…”doh, am I ever saved!”

Roots:
Dont forget to study Judaism while you do this.
But do know that the whole Jews for Jesus movement is pretty much a “baptist for jesus” theology movement.

Learn from a real Jew, a real rabbi.
Doesn’t mean to avoid the messianic crowd, but know that its modern theology not based on Jesus teachings.

Judaism for the Christian
I recommend Kosher Torah with Rabbi Ariel Bar Tzadok for those wanting a good solid understanding of Judaism and thus Christianity.
Tons of free ‘ebooks’/pdfs in an online library. (audio material available in the store, and he has a free online class at virtual yeshiva.)

Catholics had it first
Ah, those evil Catholics…not quite, there are a couple of them which show what true Christianity is about:
Thomas Merton & Henri Nouwen.

Thomas Merton is a bit heavier, but his book on contemplation is great for someone wanting to experience God and not just theorize about him and argue with others all the time.

Nouwen is very gentle and easy to be digested by even the most devout Protestant.
Also, it is VERY practical and applicable. You get this far, you are ’saved’.

Orthodox:
On your way backwards to the origins of your belief is Orthodox Christianity.
Take a look at the piece I have posted, “A River of Fire” and see the miraculous truth of Gods nature. This will be all that is needed for settling the issue of hell once and for all, of course you can always go beyond, but this makes for a solid foundation to build upon.

Spread your Wings
You want to skip all the jargon?
Eckhart Tolle is the way to go, though he will bring pointers up from various religions.
The teachings are not a religion but are freedom from religion…freedom from dogma.

As a former O.C.D., I can say that it was Eckhart Tolles way of putting things that woke me up so that I am not longer an ‘obsessive compulsive’. – no drugs required.
(prozac didnt help anyway…just helped line big pharmas pockets.)

Misc.
So you think that you are able to see past all the things that bind?
That is you no longer mistake the words for the message. Or you go past the parable and see the truth to what it is pointing? If you think so, lets see how far.

Check out Donmeh West, with Reb Yakov Leib HaKohain.
Great teaching, but if you are coming with a grid system you will quickly fall.
With this it is very easy to label and think you know what is being said.

I like his stuff as he is about doing what Im doing, extracting the light from all of creation.
(free daily classes on paltalk, and now mac users can join using paltalkexpress.)

The challenge is to take all that you have learned and see past the words that are being said and extract the light that is within. (As you did with all the above. It just wasnt stated that way.)

I could add in the Kabbalah center as well, as you study in Judaism/Christianity. (as this is great for helping one to break out of preconceived notions and identifying with groups and ideologies.)

The kabbalah center awarded me with a scholarship a few years ago, for which I am grateful.

I appreciate with them, that they also are breaking out of the ‘religious mode’ to bring the light to all and going past the ‘exclusivity’ bit. (Some may not catch this point, or think they know what I am saying…if you haven’t ‘reached into the beyond’ yet, I doubt you do.)

“The Lord Our God is One”
There you have it…go learn what this mean, I have shown you the door, its up to you to walk through.

To put it another way, go in all the way and see where you come out on the other side.

Conclusion:
Be forewarned, if you have switched one ego identity to another, it will be hard to come out.
Jesus said to the pharisees, “you go across land and sea to make one single convert and he becomes twice the son of hell that you are”.

Tis true when someone goes from one egoic identity to another.
The deeper you are in, the more solidified it is…until you go in all the way and keep an open heart to truly seek and are reborn and can breathe the fresh air again. (That is what happened with me.)

There are individuals out there who are interested in mixing herbal medicine with their synthetics. – Do not do it.

Herbs and synths do not mix. Period.

There have been deaths due to people mixing natural herbal medicine with synthetics and/or alcohol. Of course the herb gets the raw end of the deal and is either banned or severely restricted.

i.e. -
1) Ephedra (everything needs to be examined with deaths attributed to Ephedra)
2) Psilocybin mushrooms (the talk in the Dutch government over whether or not to ban them as it was blamed for a girl killing herself. But she drank alcohol with it, and the two do not mix. Also, as with any medicine, herbs have their time and purpose.)
3) Kava Kava (Blamed on liver failure when it appears that companies wanting to get on the kava band wagon were eager to ship parts of the herb to customers that even the islanders didnt use.)

Here is the point.
Chinese have used Ephedra for ages without issues it seems…but now its a problem?
This is called ‘lobbying’ by drug and food manufactures that dont like natural competition.

i.e. Uncovering some interesting facts
1) Stevia – It has 0 calories, stronger/sweeter than sugar, yet cant be put in the sweetener isle for fear by certain companies that it would hurt their sales. (when these *unnamed* companies product have been shown to cause cancer. Interesting isnt it. Not really, the whole food market is messed up – at least Whole Foods is kind of getting it right.

(I dont want to get started with why people are obese from eating just a little bit of food from the unhealthy fast food chains. Needless to say, there is some serious crap in there that no amount of exercise will take off the weight. You will have to change your diet, and I am testimony to this as I have posted elsewhere in this blog. People couldnt believe that by changing what I ate, not how much I ate, helped me to loose the weight…fast.)

Other Examples
THC is another product that they are synthesizing for medicinal usages as it wouldnt be good for business if it was legalized all of a sudden.

The fact is, the whole food and drug industry is skewed & screwed.
These are some random pointers, above, to show you that things are a bit off balance.

Conclusion
This is an article that is easy to go off on a rabbit trail.
Each thing/subject touches upon the other.

I have to say again, if you want natural healing, then stay natural…but do not mix crap.
This includes diet.
All of the products with “e’s” followed by a number(s) as an ingredient…this wanst meant for human consumption…period.
