“Nature cannot be illegal.” - Terence McKenna

Typically I do not add my comments here, but for this I will.
(Please refer to my previous quotable quotes to help understand this.)

Nature cannot be illegal, but a lot of it is.
(For those that dont know what Im referring to there will be other post perhaps going into more detail. And for those who think they know…your off.)

Fact is nature is free, and is a part of us - in a way that sustains and nurtures us. (hence the term mother earth.)

Much of nature is researched & synthesized for medications, and these synthetics cause all ranges of issues that the natural counterpart does not.

I for one am not against ‘playing god’ - per say, but will say that it would appear that knowledge without wisdom is dangerous. Much of todays pharma falls into the dangerous category. The 3rd leading cause of death is/was due to medical treatment. - that should encouarage you! ;)

Its all about a buck. Hemp was made illegal years ago because of its threat to monopoly.
The uses of hemp are really amazing, reaching all aspects of life. Unlike cutting down the rain forest for paper, hemp grows fast and stops that monopoly that started years back.

As for medicinal usages, read the medical journals and periodicals and find that THC for years has been researched and found beneficial in science and medicine…so much so that they synthesized it. All the while the public has a sterotypical view of hemp & THC.

Mind you, the hemp (Seeds) you find in stores across the U.S. have no THC and is obviously legal. (they have to import from Canada, as you cannot grow in the U.S., but they can buy and sell legally at your local health store like Whole Foods.)

People really are not educated on much more than what they learned from their milieu.
School is a joke, and most Americans agree the school system sucks. Lets be ‘Frank’, most of what you learn in History you have to unlearn or actually relearn properly.

Science & Astronomy…recently, instead of upping the number of planets in the solar system (due to scientific discoveries that would lead to quite a few more…), they voted to not add the planets and to downgrade pluto while they were at it.

So, whatever you learned in school, you have to re-learn.

The whole war on drugs. Anytime you hear the word war, you know its destined to fail. Who wins these everlasting battles of good and evil? I havent seen one side win yet. Seems funny if you think about it, as if this were the very purpose of a good and evil ideology to exist…to keep people at the poles and not see they are connected by the grey mass in the middle. But oh well, cant think to much, surely we know all we need to know. ;)

What does it matter what I say? Not much, those that hear me already have the predisposition to understanding what Im saying. Not because they are special, but because this is the track there brain is currently on. Like draws like.

This is not a ‘paper’ on hemp. But indeed it is about the fact that the world seeks control, in all areas. There is no true competition, nor should there be. What do I mean? Consider this.

Instead of two sides working against each other on the same ‘project’ to see who comes up with the better idea, would it not be more of an interest to pool resources and ideas to further a cause. I think so, and infact I believe so. Now this is what makes all the difference.

When you realize that it does not depend on what others feel or think, and that you control your destiny, as it were…then you arrest back the power that was originally taken from you. Not by force, but that which you willingly gave over. No one can take what is true away from you, it is with you and in you always. (”The truth is near” - Bible)

Ah, again, this is why I typically dont post in the Quotable Quotes. This hits on so many different aspect that such a short exposition on the subject(s) does not do it justice. But when I realize that those who read this will either get it, because they are already thinking on these lines…or they wont no matter how much I talk…then it becomes irrelevant, and I again realize Im writing for my own joy. - and thats what blogging is all about, and that is what makes blogging enjoyable for others to read.

peace

Norway Sucks {A few thoughts on Norway}

January 12, 2008

Ah, where to begin.
Norway is indeed beautiful, and really does not have a big populace - so it seems you would be amazed at how silly the government there can be.

I am Norwegian by the way, at least I have a good chunk of Norwegian blood flowing through my veins. I bet I have more ‘pure’ blood in my right toe than most of the people in the country.
Move over king, get your a** out the seat Im taking over. lol

It is amazing from what I have read it seems that Norway is trying to, for lack of better terms, ‘import’ people from the surrounding countries to help boost the population. In fact Norway has a lot of muslims as well. From all appearance they either are or soon will be one of the largest minority groups in Norway. - But wait, they will be Norwegians, after all they will have to learn Norwegian.

Whats funny is they have two official versions of the language. They cant make up their mind you see. What it boils down to is that Norwegian is a rip off from Danish and they want to make themselves stand apart from the Danes and tweak the language enough to make it pop out and seem unique. (and confusing while you try to figure out which of the official languages to learn.)

Also, they are not a member of the E.U. Now their former rulers (excuse me if this offends the ‘neo norwegian’) the Swedes are in the E.U. I guess cause they see the value in unity.
Now Norway on the other hand wants to feel like a nation, they want to have their own collective pride. See those who often try harder do so because they are trying to prove something they are not. (Dont see me flipping over backwards to prove how Norwegian I am. I have what blood I have, and thats that.)

Really this whole ego bit is seen well by looking at Norway.
Like the latest bit of info. As of Jan 1, 2008, a publicly held company must have 40% women on the board regardless of skill. They didnt put a quota for how many men must be on the board…and from what one guy said, his bosses are women, and their bosses are women…and he aint going no where.

Am I male chauvinist. Not in the least. But you cannot make change by forcing it on people. If these women are all that talented, then set up a grant, a fund, venture capital and lets see what they can do with it. Why go where they are not wanted? If they arent already there its one of three reasons.

1) Not talented enough
2) There are male chauvinist in the company
3) They are not known

1) Then dont hire them in the first case
2) Why would they want to work here in the second case
3) Set up some kind of program that gets them known

Best of all, get them to start up their own companies. They are these great thinkers, let them do it. I draw this issue with any group of people calling foul. Whether it be those who claim it based on their sexual preferences, their skin color, or sex…This is silly.

Again, Norway has a great idea but goes about the wrong way in how to implement it.
Well, I suppose there is no ‘wrong’ way, however this method can create the opposite desired effect. A man who is as talented is passed up because they feel they must have an equal amount of sexes on the board. Yes, yawn, you will say…that will be the day. Well the day is here.

You dont make change by flipping the coin around. You get creative and think out the box. Do things in a different way, not the same way that created the mess to begin with.

Ah, only if I could claim some descendent to royalty in Norway, some lost lineage that has the right to the throne…I would go there and try a thing or two. :)

Norway, loosen up. Get over your patriotism…its ‘old energy my friends’.
Get over your uptightness and forcing policy. Get some money together and build a big ’sun lamp’ to help you guys get some happy vibes - that cold dark weather must be getting to you!

Yes this is a rant…I dont hate the good people of Norway, but it has surprised me to learn at their means and methods which are kind of anti-global. Again, having women in the board is not anti-global, but quotas do not work. Some may argue that it helps break the ice to get people used to something they were not used to before. It could. But I still say there are alternative, fun routes to make change…and the ‘old energy’ male chauvinist attitude will dry out on its own.

See, if women dont seek to be put in a position to prove they should be in there, or whatever, and just concentrated on what they truly enjoyed - given the funds and grants (what-not) to do this…then these companies would squash the competition that did not want to hire them.

Now, on the other hand, if they not qualified, then it wont do a thing - But anyway.

dAlen - rightful king of Norway - but my rule will be from the tropics. :)

p.s. - not to mention that Norway just made whaling legal again.
Green Peace and Sea Shepherd are chasing the Japanese Whalers (backed by the gov of Japan) in the waters of Antartica…while people forget the opposite end of the pole it seems. Im gonna get me a sub, not unlike nemos, and ram those boats. (yes I will save the lives of the people on board, call me Mr. Generous), but putting a dent in their budget (ship wise) will put an end to it. :)

Abortion & the Religious ‘right’ (another piece of the classic Christian series)

January 10, 2008

Defining me by not defining me: (Intro)
It will be interesting, as people cannot live without their illusion of good and bad, light and dark.
In short they cannot live except in one extreme of duality, they ignore all the grades that take them from one step to another.

{Funny quantum mechanics have electrons popping in and out of existence, not traveling any linear form that we would recognize. This too is how the religious ‘right’, of any religion, traverse duality and keep the illusion of superiority of those that they subdue through their judgments.}

So in short, there will be those who read this that will try to box me in one category or the other. Some will feel they have enough based on what little I have already said, to ‘properly label me’ and thus color what I say through a certain set of preconceived filters that they have.

What do I have to say? So be it. As John Lennon {Or was it Paul?} said: “Let it be Let it be”…in this case its: “Let them be, Let them be”. What I have to write about is just my own musings…spread out over a period of time, connecting here and there - and to the observer I might seem like those electrons that pop from place to place…totally baffling the observer. :)

Politics & Abortion
So republicans are anti-abortion and democrats are ‘pro’ it would seem in this dualistic world.
Classical Christians align themselves with Jesus’ government the republicans (The better of two evils…but then again, as I said before, Im not sure Jesus would try to bring a kingdom on earth. I mean, didn’t Judas and the zealots get pi**ed for Jesus refusing to over throw Rome and establish a kingdom on earth. Oh, what does it matter, Jesus was wrong and Republicans are “right”.) :)

Politics & War & Abortion
In dualism we do not see the hypocrisy that comes with.

Democrats are labeled pro abortion and anti war.
So if you survive being killed in your mothers womb, you dont have to worry about them killing you later.

Republicans on the other hand, seem to want you to be born so they can kill you off later.
It would seem that the anti-abortion stance is so they can raise you and your kids up, just to later have them kill each other off in wars. Or better yet, torture you with stun guns, electric rays, and whatever other nice torture devices they may have.

But lets not kid ourselves. Im sure that both parties really have a common sadistic goal, its just that they spit off so much lies left and right that one has a hard time looking at what really is going on. {Which is? Oh, yeah, that Jesus didn’t support having a government on earth or rather pushing his way on the world.}

Anarchy?
“Ah, your an anarchist!”
“Ah, your wrong!”…heheh. This isn’t about me and what ’sides’ I take. Im an observer of the mess going on in the world and choose not to get caught up in it. {You to have that option, but I think you prefer the drama more, or you would drop it.}

See, anarchy is yet another mess…in fact anything that is sought as a solution from without and in the future is going to lead to pain. Why? Because you cannot live and rejoice in the moment that you have - Now. (The Power of Now/New Earth, Eckhart Tolle - Ramdas has something about ‘Now’).

Moses & ‘I Am’
“ooohhh, ‘eastern gurus’ - your one of them!”
Again, “I am that I am!” hehe. There is a lot one could learn about this one simple statement God made a few thousand years ago. See the people of his time wanted details…they wanted stories…wanted to know the juicy in-and-outs of things.

“Who is this ‘God’. How can we worship it? What image can we make of it?”

Well, God is ‘infinite’ and ‘unknowable’. {Not cause he doesn’t want to be known…but ‘thought’ cannot know that which is higher and bigger than it is. Unlike what thought would have you believe, it is not the be all end all. It is a minor tool that is actually the ‘possessor’ of many people.}

God told Moses, “Look dude, there is no need to make a story here…no need to have a name. Im Flexible. I just am. Im not a label, Im not something you can attach a picture to and ‘know’ me and ‘judge me’ and ‘confine me’ within your limited thought process. No Moses, Im on top of all that, and you can be too…”

So Moses walks away and later in time he notices them making idols, etc. and he thought, “what a bunch of dimwits’, ‘what the h*** am I wasting time for?’ So he throws the tablets down and makes up rules. Rules are made so that it protects humanity against itself. The people were not yet ready to let “God dwell amongst them” and needed “a king like the neighbors”.

You catch where Im coming from? See past the words Im using to where they are pointing to? Can you pick out pieces and feel inside that which is truth that you recognize because truth is ‘within us all’? {His arm is not to short that it cannot save…He is the creator of all…He is not ‘far’ from us.}

Wrapping Up:
As usual, dont get rankled at what I wrote and take it to serious. {Or rather dont take it as a personal attack that you must defend. You can, but thats your choice if that is your game…its not mine.} The point of the writing is more to have fun, stir up the truth that we all have, so that it floats to the top and we start looking past the front of our noses to that which is out there. Its called time to live.

So instead of voting party line, remember they are both messed up. They both have as much good as bad. And the truth, is they are both the same. And even more, they both represent who YOU are. This is really important to know. Government exist as long as we live in ‘unconsciousness’. It is really a reflection of human nature and human thought. We create it, as we create the game of duality around us.

What would Jesus do:
Its just my feeling about this, but I think from what I read about Jesus’ actions, that he would not focus on changing people…but by changing oneself by drawing closer to God. How is this done? Through stillness. Its that simple. “Dont seek the truth, just cease to cherish opinions” - Zen. (Who you are beyond the mind emerges by itself - Eckhart Tolle)

Again, this is all quickly written down…no specific ’structure to it’, so I hope you enjoyed.

Peace
